Green plants and flowers for St. Patrick’s Day? Of course, most plants are green, but there are also some green flowers. Seems weird, right? But, they are beautiful!
If you know me, you know that green is my favorite color. My nails are green, my purse is green, my clothes are green, my vehicle is green. So, I love green flowering plants.
Green Begonias
Look at the colors on these begonia leaves below. Begonias display some amazing foliage colors and here are a few I have. Two great places to purchase begonias are Logee’s and Steve’s Leaves. Always check your local garden center first, but you can also find them at these two great mail-order sources.

Green Gesneriads
I love African violets and other gesneriads. Look at the flowers on these plants!

Below are some green-flowered African violets. I love African violets and am always looking for the ones that have green in the flowers. Here is some more information about African violets. If you love the violets you see, a great mail-order source is Lyndon Lyon. I have personally purchased many plants from this company and I love them.

Orchids
There are so many orchids out there, but these had a distinct green color. These are not my plants, but I snapped some pictures of a local orchid show.

How about some green succulent plants?
I love succulents and am in my local cacti and succulent society. I collect a lot of different kinds, but euphorbias are some of my favorites. Look at these green flowers. I also love sansevieria/dracaenas that have bright green-yellow edges or centers.

Here are a few more green plants and a frog, too….

And a green shamrock…..

Do you have any green flowers or amazing green foliage plants? Have a great day, plant friends!
